On June 19 and 20 the TotalDairy Seminar will be held in the Stratford-upon-Avon (UK) for the dairy industry. This year our theme for the event is “2020 Dairying: challenges and opportunities” and as part of this the programme has a significant bias towards welfare related topics which I thought may be of interest to your members.
Key speakers include Marina Von Keyserlingk from the University of British Columbia who will cover a number of welfare related topics including a workshop entitled “Imagining the future dairy industry”. We will also have a workshop
session relating to the public perception of the dairy industry in which Amy Jackson will present her recent UK research.
There is a research area for poster presentations at the event and welcome submission on any aspect of the dairy industry. Attached you find an overview of the event, along with a list of speakers and presentation titles and the guidelines for poster submissions. Further information about the event can be found on our website www.totaldairy.com
